Real Estate Capital Partners ("RECP") is a U.S. real estate investment advisor whose goal is to create superior risk adjusted returns by investing in U.S. real estate. Two distinct types of strategies are offered- partnerships with targeted investments or separate accounts structured to meet individual parameters. In both instances, RECP selects, analyzes and negotiates investments and represents clients in all facets of the acquisition process, including securing financing.
In addition, RECP also serves as asset manager overseeing annual budgets, rent collection, operating expenses, tenant improvements and capital expenditures. RECP handles the ultimate sale of each investment to insure superior investment results. The firm provides quarterly reports and oversees annual audits and U.S. tax compliance for each property.
RECP commenced operations in 1989 and is owned by Karin Shewer, Paul Doocy and members of the senior management team, Harald Quandt Holdings, Oppenheim Immobilien Kapitalanlagegesellschaft (OIK), the Burda Family Trust, and BHF-Bank. Since inception the company has invested over $6 billion in U.S. existing and to-be-built residential, office and high-end retail properties.
